I’ve Been in Your Scrubs.

I began my nursing career in a cardiac ICU, where every shift was high-pressure and full of lessons. From there, I moved into hospice care on the South Side of Chicago—an experience that deeply shaped my perspective. Over the years, I’ve worked across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinics, serving in both large and small hospital systems. Eventually, I transitioned into leadership roles, where I had the opportunity to interview hundreds of nursing candidates.

As a manager overseeing inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and in director-level roles, I began to notice a consistent pattern: so many highly qualified individuals lacked the confidence to present themselves in interviews. They had the skills, the passion, and the experience—but they didn’t know how to showcase it. That gap between potential and presentation is where I knew I could make a difference.

I’ve also sat on the other side of the table—interviewing for jobs myself, learning from every success, and every misstep.

That’s why I started Nurse to Hired. My goal is simple: to give you the tools, insight, and confidence you need to secure the job you deserve. I can help you prepare to land your dream job—but it’s up to you to keep it.
